I was born in Rossland, B.C and have lived here for many years. I have loved to draw and paint for as long as I can remember and after a career and family responsibilities I now have the time to do this. I have been fortunate to have encouragement from the people I paint with and those who I have taken workshops from.
I am mostly a landscape painter and paint what I see, where I have been and what I know. I work in oil, acrylic, pastel, coloured pencil and graphite. My work is mainly representational.
I am a member of the Summerland Arts council, The Visac Gallery in Trail B.C. and am an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. This year I am the president of the West Kootenay Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists. I have also taught classes at the Visac Gallery in Trail and the local Community College.
